Born and raised near the sacred River Ganga in Rishikesh, Abhishek Pokhriyal began practising yoga at an early age under the guidance of traditional ashram masters. After decades of immersive study across classical alignment, Hatha, and Vinyasa lineages, the vision of Ganga Yogshala was born — a school dedicated to carrying the authentic essence of Indian yoga to students worldwide.
Today, having trained over 1,500 students from 40+ countries, his mission remains focused: teaching yoga not as an exercise, but as a complete philosophy of conscious living and therapeutic alignment.

Yes. Our 200-Hour TTC is fully registered with Yoga Alliance (RYT-200), which is recognized in 150+ countries worldwide. Upon completion, you can register directly with Yoga Alliance and begin teaching globally.
Yes. We offer live sessions in multiple time slots to accommodate students across Asia, Europe, and the Americas. All live sessions are also recorded and available for 7 days after each class.
A yoga mat is the only essential item. For our Alignment & Props classes, we recommend yoga blocks, a strap, and a bolster — all affordable and easily available online. We'll guide you on what to get before the course starts.
