INTRODUCTION

Abhishek Pokhriyal is a dedicated Iyengar yoga practitioner and teacher, widely known as "apyogaindia" across various social media platforms. With over 12 years of experience, he has shared his knowledge of yoga in countries including India, Thailand, China, Indonesia, Mauritius etc impacting the lives of more than 15,000 individuals. In 2017, Abhishek founded Ganga Yogshala in Rishikesh, Uttarakhand, India, where he leads a team of over 25 members offering a variety of online yoga classes (both group and personal), workshops, and teacher training programs. In 2025, Abhishek opened Kala Retreat in Rishikesh, a Retreat center dedicated to the teachings of Guruji BKS Iyengar. At Kala Retreat , he provides in-person yoga retreats, workshops, and more. Abhishek’s lifelong mission is to carry forward the teachings of Guruji BKS Iyengar, sharing his wisdom with others through his work.

Opening ceremony starts with havan and everyone is required to wear white traditional clothing as white is symbol of Peace.

The holy Ganga river flows with the Grace of God, purifying hearts and souls offering a divine embrace, Sins are washed away while taking a bath in the Ganga's sacred stream, which also purifies the spirit and grants blessings every day.
An ethereal dance of reverance and light is called Ganga Aarti. The spiritual songs of Ganga Aarti promte peace within Kindness and Sincerity, devotes gather in search of the blessings that the aarti unevils.
A picnic in Rishikesh's open sky is a treat as the beauty of nature is all around, filling hearts with pure sights. Joy and laughter mix with the breeze by the river, An outdoor trip that produces priceless memories.
In the Sun Salutation, we make 108 bows while honouring the sun's gift of life. This practise improves our journey of enlightenment. Each graceful motion unites the body, mind, and spirit. a spiritual cycle that encourages inner brilliance
